PREAMBLE:
The
Commissioner for Industrial Development &
Director of industries& Commerce, Bangalore
in his letter cited above has sent a proposal
for approval of guidelines to provide marketing
assistance to market the products manufactured
by women, SC/ST entrepreneurs / Artisans of
Karnataka to facilitate them to participated
in various exhibitions held in the State/Outside
the state sponsored by govt. of India, Govt.
of Karnataka and the States. In this regard,
it has been decided to introduce a scheme
for financial assistance from the year 2005-06
by way of providing them with concessional
stall rent and TA/DSA for participation in
the event.
Govt
have examined the proposal & ordered as
follows.

Under
the circumstances explained above, Govt is
pleased to approve the guidelines for implementation
of Scheme for financial assistance to women,
SC/ ST entrepreneurs/ Artisans of Karnataka
to participate in various exhibitions held
in the Karnataka State/ Outside the state
from the year 2005-06 sponsored by Govt of
India, Govt of Karnataka and other State Govts
This
Order is issued subject to the condition that
every year provision should be made in the
respective budget for this scheme and the
expenditure should be limited to the amount
provide in the budget For this year 2005-06
Rs. 50.00 lakhs have been reserved out of
the budget provision of Rs. 450.00 lakhs under
the head of account 2852-80-800-46 under infrastructure
support investment and trade promotion.

Eligibility
a. All artisans, women, and SC/ST entrepreneurs
of registered SSI /Tiny units are eligible
b. The scheme will cover National /State Level
exhibitions /fairs organized by Govt of India,
Govt of Karnataka and other States.
2.
Detail of Financial Assistance
Participants will be eligible for
· Full stall
rentals not exceeding Rs. 5000/-
· TA for two
persons per stall at II nd class Railway fare
to the place of exhibition and back
· DA for two
persons per stall @ Rs. 100/ -per person outside
the State and Rs,75/- per day per person with
in the State.
DA will be calculate for one day prior, one
day all the exhibitions days.
