VITC would be the Nodal agency for implementation of the scheme and the fundsa required for the scheme would be made available under infrastructure support and trade promotion – Plan Scheme s.

4. Selection Committee

             b. Representative of KSHDC
             c. The Chairperson, Crafts Council of Karnataka
             d. The President , AWAKE
             e. The Deputy Director , RD& TDC [Technical Wing] , Office of the DC [Handicrafts], Bangalore.
             f. Representative of Commissioner for Social Welfare Dept..  

Approval will be given by the Selction Committee subject to availability of funds.

5. Other Conditions
                    a. Applicant should apply to VITC before one month of the exhibition in the prescribed format for proper selection.
                    b. The selected entrepreneurs /artisans will be informed well in time two weeks before commencement of the exhibition ] and sanctioned funds will be released directly after the event is over after due verification.
                    c. No. TA/DA will be given if the exhibition is in the place where participant is residing
                    d. Applicants are eligible for one event in a year.
                    e. Those who have already availed assistance during the year from other Govt. sponsored scheme are not eligible for assistance under the scheme.
                    f. Applicants should submit a copy of the ID card issued by KSHDC, the Development Commissioner [Handicrafts ] or Tiny /SSI Registration Certificate issued by DIC.
                    g. Only products manufactured by the artisans /tiny and SSI units are to be displayed and marketed in the exhibition
                    h. Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority to be produced by SC /ST UNITS.
            The Order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department Note No. FD 1025 Exp 1/2005, dated 6.7.2005.
